2007: Floodwaters drain in Latvia
A Riga, Latvia, city worker stands on a manhole cover he removed to allow floodwater in Riga's Krasta Street to escape like bathwater down the drain Jan. 15. A storm the night before brought torrential rain, causing flooding throughout the city.
